BOUND TOGETHER

An Alternative Book Making Workshop

September 5-8, 2024, in Portland, Oregon

10am -4pm each day.

In this 4-day mixed media workshop at Cargo, Portland, Oregon, we’ll create papers, collage, stitch, draw, and paint. We’ll experiment with processes such as image transferring and mark making. From our individual pieces we’ll make our signatures and bind them, instinctually, to make our books, to journal in, to add pages, or leave as is. We’ll end our days together with rich and intimate books, filled with awe and wonderment, warm and tactile nests of gatherings to be cradled in the palm of our hands.
