We often describe our work as ‘too busy’. Understandably so as Mixed Media in its essence is often a multilayered process in which we add much more than we remove. There is beauty in that and great satisfaction too. However, often times it becomes ‘too much’ and we find ourselves wanting ‘less’. We crave spaciousness, ‘breathing room’, and movement. In this 4-day workshop we’ll explore the concept of ‘Less is More’, explore minimalism, a new way of being and expressing ourselves, still under the comfort of mixed media: painting, collage, writing and drawing.
