MIXT: Collage On Old Book Boards

A 4-day Collaborative Mixed Media Workshop

May 18-21, 2023 in Portland, Oregon

We share a friendship, a city of residence, and a crazy enthusiasm for old book boards, collage, color, and many other tactile materials. We wanted to do this together for quite a while. So here we are, offering to you an exciting event where we both share with you our respective and somewhat quirky attitudes towards those beaten, at times forgotten, little old beauties. Working loosely and intuitively, we will use scraps of wallpaper, worn ephemera, hand painted papers that we create, and materials scavenged from discarded books, we will create a series of eclectic collages on book boards. We are both so excited to gather with you for THIS.
